Abstract

Materials and methods: At first, 150 students of medical sciences of Qazvin University of Medical Sciences received a translated questionnaire DSM5 "Assessment of premenstrual syndrome". After completing the students' questionnaire based on their results, they were divided into two groups with and without symptoms of premenstrual syndrome. The sample size was 35 in each group. In the two groups, blood calcium levels were measured Results and Conclusion: There was a significant relationship between calcium level and symptoms of premenstrual syndrome in physical symptoms. There was no significant difference between the levels of calcium and the group with symptoms of premenstrual syndrome.
