On the other hand, due to the presence of Iran in the belt of deserts in the world and limited water resources And the inadequate reception capacity of the country's water absorbing resources The increasing need for more efficient methods for the treatment and recovery of industrial wastewater Which is the main source of environmental pollution in the country. The use of treated wastewater as an alternative water source with an independent source, In many developing and developed countries has increased. In the last few decades The use of membrane bioreactors (MBR) in treatment industrial and municipal wastewater It is rapidly expanding in the world. Aim: In this study, Synthetic sewage containing phenol in a laboratory membrane biochemical reactor The treatment and its performance was evaluated. Method: This study was conducted over a six-month period from January 2018 to June 2018. In order to carry out this research, a pilot Scale of the AnMBR process was made of Plexiglas. Synthetic wastewater in a tank the Volume of a liter With a certain concentration by adding nutrients and micronutrients were prepared for biological growth. Loading bioreactors ranging 0/125- 0/803 Kg / m³d was selected And phenol at concentrations of 25, 50, 100, 200, 300, 400, 500 and 600 mg/l In the presence of glucose (biodegradable organic matter as a auxiliary substrates) And COD at concentrations of 1000, 2000, 3000, 4000, 5000 and finally 6430 mg / L And was tested under anaerobic conditions. The values of EC, PH, turbidity, COD were analyzed by spectrophotometer with DR-6000, VSS and TSS and phenol concentration according to standard methods. The anaerobic membrane bioreactor efficacy in removal of COD and phenol and also the effect The increase of OLR was investigated on the removal of COD and phenol. Results: With the passage of time and increased COD concentration, the initial COD removal rate also increased. This study showed that The removal of phenol by increasing retention time And increasing the concentration of biodegradable material is appropriate. After 171 days in the vicinity of 5,000 mg / L of auxiliary substreate, the removal rate in the reactor reached 99.85%. The highest COD removal efficiency in this study was 99.63 % percent.
